Prop gun completely studio made for 1952 movie Carbine Williams starring Jimmie Stewart, hand signed on stock by David Marshall Williams, who was the individual who inspired “Carbine Williams” and was the inventor of the M1 Carbine. This non-firing aluminum rifle 43-1/2” overall and is not chambered and has some associated gun parts, but was never intended to shoot blanks, ammunition, or any type of projectile. It was totally a prop. This prop is a key piece of the movie and is beautifully framed in a shadowbox, originally in the collection retained by Stembridge Gun Rentals. Est: $2,500 - $5,000
