Shepard Jr.,</B></I>" "<I>Walter M. Schirra Jr.</B></I>" "<I>John H. Glenn Jr.</B></I>" (rare in full), "<I>Virgil I. Grissom,</B></I>" "<I>M. Scott Carpenter,</B></I>" "<I>Donald K. Slayton,</B></I>" and "<I>Leroy G. Cooper Jr.</B></I>" Schirra's signature is a bit light; Carpenter's is smudged. Signed with their rare, desirable, early signatures. Carpenter soon dropped the "<I>M.</B></I>" from his signature, Cooper dropped "<I>Leroy G.</B></I>" for "Gordon," Slayton changed "<I>Donald K.</B></I>" to "D.K.," Grissom signed "Gus" instead of "<I>Virgil I.,</B></I>", and Schirra signed "W.M." instead of "<I>Walter M.</B></I>" <I>From the collection of renowned former physical trainer of the astronauts Joe Garino.
