<B>Project Mercury Astronauts Signed Color Photograph,</B></I> 10" x 7.5", "<I>M. Scott Carpenter,</B></I>" "<I>John H. Glenn, Jr.</B></I>" (rare in full), "<I>Alan B. Shepard, Jr.,</B></I>" and "<I>Donald K. Slayton.</B></I>" Taken January 20, 1961, at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, the day of John F. Kennedy's presidential inauguration, the seven Mercury astronauts are standing beside a Convair 106-B aircraft in their flight suits. Each signed with his scarce, early signature. Upper portion with inscription name cut off leaving "<I>From the Astronauts-</B></I>" at the upper edge in an unknown hand. Slayton died in 1993, Shepard in 1998. <I>From the collection of renowned former physical trainer of the astronauts Joe Garino.
