Pro-John Quincy Adams Publication from the 1828 Presidential Campaign. Booklet, "Address of the Great State Convention of Friends of the Administration…", 24 pp., 5" x 8", Concord, New Hampshire, 1828. Light soiling and even browning as expected, else fine condition. The campaign of 1828 found incumbent President John Quincy Adams squaring off against war hero Andrew Jackson. The race was particularly nasty, exhibiting those sectional undertones that would eventually lead to civil war. Jackson, of Tennessee, handily won the election.

Shipping: Books & Catalogs (view shipping information)
