Healey writes on his Riverbrook Farm stationery, ''...Joe, I am 78 yrs old, a veteran of World War No. 1, A.E.F, A retired executive, and a member of the 1918 class of Dartmouth College. I thank God for everything. My best wishes to you, Sincerely, Ed. Healey''. Healey played for the Rock Island Independents and the Chicago Bears during the 1920's.
