Castle, River Niger, Fernando Po, Island of Ascension, --- West African Islands. And the Portuguese Islands on the Coast under the LIne. The Return Voyage to Europe. 1841 and 1842. A Hand-Written Journal by one William Simpson while at sea on board the Bark "Golden Spring". 189 pages complete with a TOC, and notes in the rear. In smallish pen and fairly legible. Very unique and quite uncommon. 8vo. bound in 1/2 polished Maroon calf and marbled blue bds. Good+ to VG-.
