Mailing envelope addressed in the hand of Princess Diana, 6.75 x 5.25, postmarked at the Sandringham House (no date), sent to her dresser Fay Appleby, “Mrs. S. Appleby, 7. Torridge Road, R. A. F. Chivenor, Barnstable, North Devon.” Mounted, matted, and framed with a photo of Diana and another of her with Appleby, to an overall size of 18.5 x 15.75. In fine condition.

Appleby served as the dresser to HRH Princess Diana from 1984 to 1990. In said role, she was responsible for looking after Diana’s hundreds of designer dresses, outfits, and jewels. Appleby traveled the world with the princess for six years and later was secretly supported by Diana during a lengthy battle with cancer, which would ultimately take her life in 2002.
