Gorgeous Native American-style choker necklace worn by Prince in the 'The Undertaker' home video, a 40-minute jam session filmed at Paisley Park Studios on June 14, 1993. The necklace measures 31˝ in length and features sections of black hair pipe beads, gold tone beads, a beautiful abalone disc to center, and black leather straps to ends. Includes a Dream Factory / Paisley Park digipak with CD and DVD containing live tracks and footage from ‘The Undertaker’ music video; the DVD clearly shows Prince wearing the offered necklace. In fine condition.

Recorded live in a single take during a rehearsal session with Michael B. on drums and Sonny T. on bass, ‘The Undertaker’ album was intended to be released as a covermount CD included with a 1994 issue of Guitar World magazine. Warner Bros. caught wind of Prince’s plans and halted all production, with the manufactured copies coated with a plastic covering and rendered unplayable. The resulting footage from the rehearsal was given a vague storyline and turned into a home video that featured Prince’s then romantic interest, actress Vanessa Marcil, who also appeared in Prince music videos ‘Poorgoo’ and ‘The Most Beautiful Girl in the World.’ Lasting roughly 40 minutes, ‘The Undertaker’ rehearsal featured an introduction and seven songs, including a cover of ‘Honky Tonk-Woman’ by the Rolling Stones. A unique piece of Prince-worn jewelry in keeping with the artist's influential and gender-fluid fashion sense.

Accompanied by a letter of provenance from a former employee of Prince who obtained the necklace indirectly through Marcil.
