A 55.6 mm bronze Prince of Wales Normal School Medal (Breton #107, Lr.638), Rev: left-facing portrait of Albert, Prince of Wales, tiny text below: "CAQUE F. / GC AVEUR DE S.M. L'EMP EGEUR(?)"; Obv: "EDUARDUS ALBERTUS/ PRINCEPS CAMBRIAE/ PROVINCIAM CANADENSEM/ FAUSTA PRAESENTIA HONORATAM/ PERLUSTRANS/ IN UNAQUAQUE NORMALI SCHOLA/ PRAEMIUM IN SINGULOS ANNOS/ MUNIFICE INSTITUIT.A.D. MDCCXLX/ IN ... SCHOLA/ ... MER ET CONS/ A.D.18..", with added engraving: "LAVALLENSI NORMALI / J. DUBE / [18]04". Struck at the Paris Mint with impressed "BRONZE" and mint-mark on outer rim - awarded to J. Dube of the Laval Normal School, seemingly in 1904 with "8" in date appearing to have been somewhat altered accordingly. gEF, and a desirable medal.
