Prince's stage-worn Versace sunglasses from his 1997-98 Jam of the Year tour, which he was also photographed wearing at a New York Knicks-Chicago Bulls game in 1996. The glasses feature thick black plastic frames, dark lenses, and temples inset with golden Versace Medusa medallions encircled by faux diamonds. The inner earpieces are marked in white: "Gianni Versace, Made in Italy" and "Mod 424/C RH COL 852BK." In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Prince's ex-wife Mayte Garcia and Chris Davidson of PrinceArchives.com, in part: "This pair of Versace black sunglasses with gold colored symbols on the sidearms were worn by Prince on stage in the late 90s. Prince was fascinated with Versace and went to several of their fashion shows held in Italy and abroad. I attended several with him in the mid to late 90's. Prince provided original music to be played at these shows for Versace."
