Gorgeous pair of golden clip-on earrings personally gifted by Prince to his former girlfriend Jackie Swanson, each .75? in diameter, featuring a sextet of deep red gems set to center and encircled by a ring of alternating floral designs. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Jackie Swanson.

After moving to Los Angeles actress Jackie Swanson earned her first paying job handing Prince a guitar in the music video for ‘Raspberry Beret,’ the first single from the platinum-selling album Around the World in a Day. According to a 1985 letter from Prince, Swanson was also the inspiration for an unreleased song entitled ‘Palamino Pleasure Ride.’ Warner Bros. casting noticed Swanson alongside Prince in 'Raspberry Beret' and as a result she auditioned for and was cast in the role of Amanda Hunsaker in Lethal Weapon; she performed her own free fall stunt in the film's opening sequence. Jackie Swanson then joined the cast of the acclaimed television series Cheers from 1989–1993, during which time Prince gifted these 'Raspberry' earrings to her as a sweet remembrance. On a couple of occasions Prince visited the Cheers set located at Paramount Studios and watched as they filmed before a live studio audience. Most notably, Prince was present during the filming of the Cheers episode entitled 'An Old Fashioned Wedding.' As a personally-gifted memento related to one of Prince's biggest hits, this is a wonderful piece.
