Single-sided acetate test pressing of Prince's 'Hot Thing' 7? 45 RPM single, from Bernie Grundman Mastering. The disc's label reads: "Prince, Warner Bros. Records, 45 RPM, Stereo, Side B, Hot Thing, 3:40." Includes the original Bernie Grundman Mastering sleeve, annotated on the front, "Paisley Park, Oct 15, 1987, Prince, 'I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man,' 'Hot Thing,' 7?." In fine condition, with some faint discoloration to the sleeve, and foxing to the disc's label. Acetate test pressings are made of a material much more fragile than the vinyl used for production records, and they are made in extremely limited qualities. This edited version of 'Hot Thing' appeared as the B-side to Prince's 'I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man' single, released on November 3, 1987.
