Handwritten note in bold red felt tip by Prince on the reverse of an 8.5 x 11 sheet of PRN Productions letterhead, no date but circa 1989. The unsigned note concerns the delivery of termination notices Prince wishes to deliver to his personal assistant Karen Krattinger, in full: "2 Be delivered 2 Karen K." Reverse bears an unrelated handwritten note from Krattinger to Prince, "George wanted me 2 give U this material on his son, Tracy." Included with the note are three copies of termination notices, each one page, 8.5 x 11, Prince Rogers Nelson personal letterhead, January 3, 1989 (one mistakenly dated 1988), all bearing Prince’s facsimile signature at the conclusion. The letters are individually addressed to Prince’s management team, his business manager and accountant Fred Moultrie, and his attorney L. Lee Phillips. Also included is a copy of Phillips’s impassioned three-page response to Prince. In fine condition. In a shocking decision, Prince overhauled his entire management team in early 1989, with many citing exorbitant tour expenses and costly overhead on his various enterprises, namely the completion of his Paisley Park Studios, as key reasons. From the collection of Prince’s former assistant.
