<B>Prince Albert I of Monaco Document Signed</B></I>, four integral pages partially printed, written on pages one and two, 8.25" x 12.25", Monaco, February 25, 1920, in French. Two file holes at the top, well away from the signature. Overall browning, ragged top, and some foxing, else very good. Sold with a later postal card featuring Prince Albert in naval uniform. The document, addressed to the President of the Dominican Republic, is announcing the adoption of Charlotte Louise Juliette de Valentinois by the heir apparent, Prince Louis of Monaco. Charlotte was Prince Louis's illegitimate daughter and was elevated to the rank of princess thus assuring a Grimaldi succession.
