Black TDK cassette tape of Prince's 1994 studio release The Black Album, presented by Prince to his assistant Stachia Fiedler, with B side bearing an affixed label annotated in blue ballpoint, "Stachia." In very good to fine condition, with scuffing to case. The Black album, also known as The Funk Bible, was originally intended to be released on December 8, 1987, with an entirely black sleeve with no title or song credits. A week before its release date Prince had the album withdrawn after having a spiritual experience that convinced him the album was 'evil.' It was later released as a limited edition by Warner Bros. Records on November 22, 1994, and then exclusively via Tidal in 2016. From the collection of Prince's assistant Stachia Fiedler and accompanied by a letter of provenance.
