DS, one page, 8.5 x 8, January 3, 1957. Medical approval form for the California State Athletic Commission for Carnera’s wrestling license, with Carnera signing three times for his medical exam, chest x-ray, and eye exam, twice in ballpoint, and once in pencil. In very good condition, with punch and staple holes to top edge, several notations and stamps, and light creasing and wrinkling. In 1946 Carnera became a wrestler and wrestled for 15 years until retiring in 1961. In 1957, he beat King Kong, to claim wrestling's world heavyweight championship and become the first, and thus far only man in history to win both boxing's and wrestling's world heavyweight championships.
