Beautiful primitive wood chair. Circa 1890-1920's. Wonderful rich brown patina and the back appears to be an old ironing board top. Very solid. Made with mostly square cut nails. A strap of leather has been wrapped around one rear leg and nailed to the back. Repair appears to be very old but is still very solid. Possibly used as a kitchen chair or a child' chair. Excellent primitive piece. I believe this to be a South Carolina piece because as a girl in rural South Carolina when there was large group of people that is what the children sat on.
