Press document from JFK's 1963 Dallas trip. Addressed to JFK's Associate Press Secretary Andrew Hatcher, AP reporter Frances Lewine asks if the President will be visiting former Vice President John Garner in Texas: ''...Can you say pls whether President Kennedy plans any special trip...'' Hatcher responds in his hand, ''yes'' with the words ''Friday'' and ''call'' also written. 8'' x 5'' note has minor creasing, else near fine. Personally owned by Assistant Press Secretary Malcolm Kilduff, the man who publicly announced Kennedy's assassination.
