Presidential / Americana / McLoughlin "Centennial Presidential Game (1776-1876), approx. 1876 € 900,- Extremely rare board game by McLoughlin Bros., New York, covering American Presidency for the first 100 years of American History! - This very early game contains in his highly attractive lithographed paper box, with wooden frames in upper and lower portions of the box, a very ornate wood block spinner with 2 indicators and game instructions on the back and a presidential card deck with 54 cards each showing the terms of all U.S. presidents and vice-presidents during this 1st American centennial period. At the bottom of each card some interesting facts and events of the respective candidates are listed. There are also 2 cards for the years 1776 and 1876 and 4 counting cards (2 blue and 2 red ones), size: 7" x 4 1/2" x 1 1/3". - It's not even mentioned in any major specialty literature, it's only shown on the Smithsonian Institute website (http://americanhistory. si.EDU/PRESIDENCY/4C2.html). - This is not only one of the rarest early board games by famous American McLoughlin publishers, it's also a tremendous "Americana" and "Presidential" collectable commemorating the first century of American history! Außerordentlich seltenes Gesellschaftsspiel von McLoughlin Bros., New York, über alle Präsidenten der ersten 100 Jahre der amerikanischen Geschichte! - Dieses frühe Spiel enthält in seiner hochattraktiven lithographierten Papierschachtel mit Holzrahmen in beiden Teilen einen sehr dekorativen Kreisel mit 2 Zeigern und die Spielanleitung auf der Rückseite, sowie das eigentliche Set von 54 Karten, die jeweils die Daten sämtlicher U.S.-Präsidenten und ihrer Vize-Präsidenten während des ersten Jahrhunderts der amerikanischen Geschichte darstellen. Außerdem gibt es 2 Karten für die Jahre 1776 bzw. 1876 und je 2 blaue bzw. rote Spielmarkenkarten.
