President Theodore Roosevelt official White House dinner invitation sent to his cousin, Dorothy Roosevelt. Seven piece invitation includes: (1) official invitation addressed to Miss Roosevelt for a request to join the President ''at supper in the upper corridor'' on 9 February 1905. Invitation measures 5.25'' x 4''; (2) official White House mailing envelope; (3) place-card with Dorothy Roosevelt's name, measuring 4'' x 2.5''; (4) RSVP card, measuring 3.5'' x 2.5''. Paperclip imprint on top edge; (5) envelope for the RSVP card; (6) large olive green ticket numbered ''129'' stating ''The White House Admit at Southwest Gate'', measuring 6.75'' x 4''. Vertical crease runs through center; (7) additional envelope made out to Dorothy Roosevelt. Lot shows some toning and wear to edges, else near fine overall.
