<B>President Theodore Roosevelt Document Signed.</B></I> One page, 20" x 16", official document with Department of Treasury seal, Washington D.C., January 13, 1904. This official document informs all those who look upon it that John Linzee Snelling has been appointed as Appraiser of Merchandise in the District of Boston and Charleston in the State of Massachusetts. It is signed by Roosevelt and the Secretary of the Treasury, Leslie M. Shaw. In fine condition; soiling present on the upper portions of the document; light toning on the back; signature looks dark and crisp.
