<B>Ronald Reagan Signed Printed Quote.</B></I> One page, 5" x 3.5", np, January 27, 1959. This signature was obtained in the year 1959 and then subsequently the printed quote was added to the card after Reagan's speech at the Brandenburg Gate in 1987. The quote reads: "General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" He was, of course, referring to the Berlin Wall, which had separated East and West Berlin for decades. It was an icon of the Cold War and Communism. This famous speech was one of the main catalysts for bringing down the wall and thus Communism itself. Above the small printed quote is a photograph taken of Reagan as he gave this speech at Brandenburg Gate, a gate through which one would enter into Berlin. In extra fine condition. Framed to an overall size of 15.5" x 19.5".
