Reads in full: ''Dear Lee: I heard that you have taken the economy program seriously, made a suggestion, and won an award at the Department of State to help save money. Congratulations! I must say that I never thought of you as the 'last of the big-time savers,' but I'm glad to know you are -- and hope you're not the last.'' Signed ''Lyndon B. Johnson'' in black ink. Letter on one page measures 6.75''x 8.75''. Shallow horizontal fold, else near fine.
