President Calvin Coolidge typed letter signed composed on White House stationery measuring 7” x 9.5”, and datelined Swampscott, MA, 7 July 1925 to Gisle Bothne, president of the Norse-American Centennial Celebration. In part: “...Your kind message...to Mrs. Collidge and myself are very much appreciated. We still remember with pleasure our trip to Minnesota...sincerely...Calvin Coolidge.” Accompanied by White House cover with stamp removed. Letter shows minor creasing and mailing folds, else fine.
