Presentation wood cased Colt John Wayne Commemorative SAA revolver presented to our consignor by the Duke’s son and CEO of Batjack Productions, Michael Wayne in 1982; .45 cal., 4-3/4” barrel, blue finish withgold ornamentation on barrel, frame, cylinder, backstrap and ejector housing, checkered eagle black hard rubber grips, #CJWC 0341. This very popular commemorative Colt is in like new condition showing littlehandling; case is in excellent condition with French fitted lining inside and a facsimile of John Wayne’s signature on the backstrap of the gun and on the lid of the case. Documentation accompanying this lot includesColt Industries general letter on the Commemorative series, a copy of the John Wayne Presentation series flyer, the Colt factory instructions manual for the Single Action Army Revolver and a hand writtenletter by Michael Wayne on his personal letterhead to our consignor dated 5 Dec. 82; also a John Wayne business card that is written on the back “Good Luck, John Wayne”. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
