Prehistoric Native American Mimbres Carved Bone Awls and Tools. Longest one measures 5.5'' and may have been used as a needle or awl, fine pointed tool. One tool is broken and has a carved head of animal on top and hole through top of head - probably used as a needle. Another one is a small awl or punch tool. Also a flat, bone piece with hole in top (broken). Also a small, large headed bone piece likely used as a button. This item is from the Bonham/Sherman estate.
