Prehistoric El Paso Jornado Black on Red Jar, has been Shellaced, Overpainted, Glued and has approx. 25% restoration. Measures 17.5" H x 21.5"W. Huge Trade Jar found in the Arabela - Bluewater Ranch site. Item found on private ranchland near Arabela-Bluewater in South Central New Mexico. Prehistoric pottery found on private ranchland near Arabela-Bluewater in South Central New Mexico and acquired in accordance with all state and federal regulations. Items date from 900-1400 A.D. and were produced by the Jornado branch of the Mogollon culture. Some Casas Grande and El Paso prehistoric pottery was also found in these same sites.
