Pre-war German combination over and under signed Fr. Jac. Bartels, Wiesbaden on barrel with classic high-grade German features and quick detachable claw mounted scope. The gun is chambered in 16 gauge over 6.5 mm x 58 rimmed. This combination arm is pre-1931 German proofed and shows a Gustav Kirsten patented release and locking system. The arm has been restored and restocked by Freddy Brunner former top gunsmith for Pachmayr for his own personal collection. The scope is a Weaver K3 -1. The combination arm measures 44 ½ “ overall with 27 ½” barrel. This classic is stocked in fine quality deluxe burl walnut with Monte Carlo cheek piece and classic German styling. The wood is fancy and has elaborate checkering. Other features include horn trigger guard, set trigger, lightly engraved frame, blue and case hardened finish, engine turned interior, tight action, fine bores and in overall fine to excellent condition as restored with 97% to 99% finish remaining.
