Manufactured in 1940. Hooded ramp front sight and folding adjustable leaf rear sight on a barrel marked with the Winchester legend on the left side and two-line address on the right side. Equipped with a Lyman 2 1/2x Alaskan scope with Redfield mount. The left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech are stamped with a Winchester factory oval proof. Pre-war safety, cloverleaf receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to the gun and leather sling. The straight comb pistol grip stock features checkering and a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 90% plus original blue finish showing speckling of patina with a smooth gray patina on the buttplate. The stock is also very fine with some scattered minor handling marks with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The scope has clear optics.
