Manufactured in 1923. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." and on the rear left side "32 W.C.F.". The left side of the frame has the standard two line, three patent date marking followed by the Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and on the right side of the rear section of the trigger guard and back straps under grips and the cylinder is unnumbered which is correct for these late prewar revolvers. The assembly number "936" is located on the loading gate and the right rear of the frame. The number "3" and Colt "VP" triangle proof are marked on the upper left front of the trigger guard. Blade front, frame notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, and fitted with pearl grips with carved steer head with red eyes and gold foil overlays on the horns. Comes with a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Gauge: 32 WCF
Finish: blue/casehardened
Grips: pearl
Serial Number: 346213
Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 85% original blue finish with some muzzle wear, thinning on the barrel and front strap, some high edge wear and minor spotting on the back strap. There is a drag line on the cylinder. The frame retains 30% original faded case colors, bright in protected areas, with a smooth mottled gray patina on the balance. The grips are slightly oversized and are very fine with minor handling marks. One gold horn overlay has a dent in it. The extra hard rubber grips are very good with a few minor dings, a small area of moderate wear and crisp overall checkering. Mechanically functions fine, but is slightly out of time.
