Fine, 70% plus of the original blue finish remains with scattered surface rust, dings and wear with a mostly smooth brown/gray patina on the balance. There are some scattered spots of surface oxidation. The rear sight is a replacement Remington WWII era sight. The N.R.A. stamping is crisp. The rear sight is a WWII Remington Model 903 replacement. The stock is also very fine as revarnished with scattered dings, scratches and crisp cartouches. Mechanically excellent.
