This is an excellent example of a 1906 Navy Luger with the safety lever in the lower position showing the "Gesichert" marking in the upper position, a 6" barrel, blank chamber, with the DWM logo on the front toggle. It has the standard two-position Naval rear sight, with standard front sight with grip safety, and stock lug. The left side of the barrel extension has the single "Crown" and double "Crown/M" proofmarks with the same style of proof marks on the left and under side of the barrel. The left side of the breech block also has a single "Crown" proofmark. The extractor and safety are marked "GELADEN" and "GESICHERT" respectively. It has the full serial number with "b" suffix on the frame and barrel, with the partial serial number "17" on some small parts. The back strap is marked "II/T./D./2528". This Luger has the all blue finish with restraw colored small parts and is fitted with checkered walnut grips, and a nickel plated, stamped and folded magazine with an unmarked wood base.

Extremely fine overall with 95% of the original blued finish with wear on the edges and high spots overall with the smaller parts having 90% of their restrawed colors overall. The walnut grips are in excellent condition with nice distinct checkering overall with only minor handling marks. This Luger has matching numbers except the magazine and firing pin, both of which are unnumbered.
