Manufactured in 1937. The 24" heavy weight barrel is fitted with a Lyman "77" marked globe front sight and scope blocks. Equipped with a Lyman receiver sight. Standard markings with the factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Cloverleaf receiver tang, hinged floor plate, and pre-war safety. Smooth target style stock with sling swivels, 7 position forearm accessory rail and checkered target style buttplate.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish with the floor plate and trigger guard thinning to a brown patina, some minor thinning on the bolt handle knob, and some minor muzzle wear. The stock is fine with almost all of the varnish remaining and some minor dings, pressure marks, and scratches, with a hairline crack near the upper tang.
