Manufactured in late 1929. Standard barrel and upper tang markings, Winchester oval proof on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech, blade front and folding ladder rear sights, saddle ring and stud mounted on the left side of the receiver, blue finish with casehardened lever and mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with steel carbine buttplate.

Condition: Very fine. The barrel and magazine tube retain 90% original finish with thinning on the muzzle end, which is fading to a smooth plum patina. There are a number of small scratches on the underside of the magazine tube. The receiver also retains 90% original finish showing high edge wear and some minor flaking. The lever has a smooth brownish patina with traces of original blue in protected areas and the buttplate is a mix of thin original blue finish, and smooth gray and brown patina. The wood is also very fine with some scattered minor dings, scratches and scuffs. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
