Very good. The carbine is original and retains nearly 85% of the blue finish. Most of the wear is located on the high points of the receiver; the finish on the receiver sides is thin and has scattered light scratches. The buttplate has the typical finish loss on the toe and heel. The stock and forearm have scattered light handling marks but remain in very good condition. The barrel and receiver markings are crisp. The bore is bright and the actions is tight and functions perfectly. This is a very good original example of a pre-WWII Winchester Model 1894 Carbine.
