Manufactured in 1931. This five screw model is built on the .38 Hand Ejector square-butt K frame. The barrel has a standard two line marking ending with the 1914 patent, the left side is marked "SMITH & WESSON" and the caliber designation on the right side. Pinned Patridge type front and adjustable rear sights. Standard frame markings, blue finish, with casehardened hammer and trigger, (both marked "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF."), serrated grip straps and fitted with checkered walnut grips, (right grip numbered to gun), with silver S&W medallions.

Condition: Excellent with 90% plus the original blue finish with some noticeable pitting on the barrel otherwise markings are crisp. Some noticeable light scratching to frame with minor light scratching overall otherwise a fine specimen of a gun. Trigger and hammer retain most of their case color still present. The grips are also excellent with some minor dings and wear to the otherwise very crisp checkering. The action is excellent
