Very good. The barrel retains 50% of the faded original blue finish with a smooth gray patina along the left side. The upper surface of the ejector housing retains most of the original thin blue finish with the balance having a smooth brown patina. The cylinder retains 40% thin original finish mixed with smooth gray patina. The trigger guard and backstrap have a smooth mottled gray patina with strong original finish in protected areas. The frame retains shadows of original case colors in the protected areas with the balance having a smooth gray patina. The trigger retains almost all of the original bright fire blue finish and the hammer shows most of the vivid original case colors. The grips are very good with some scuffing on the bottom of the left panel, a few minor dings and dents and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
