Very good. The revolver retains 25% of the original blue finish on the barrel and ejector housing, strong original blue finish in the protected areas of the trigger guard bow, and a mottled gray and brown patina on the balance. The front sight has some tool marks and once had an ivory bead, which is presently absent. The grips have faded to brown and remain very good with some slight warping on the bottoms, a tiny chip on the right toe and distinctive checkering. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
