Manufactured in 1927. Fixed sights, with the one line Hartford address on top of the barrel and "38 W.C.F." on the left side, with the two line, three patent dates on the left side of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt. Matching numbers on the bottom of the frame and right side of the front and back grip straps under the grip. Casehardened hammer and frame, blue on the remaining parts, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Condition: Fine. The barrel and cylinder retain 95% original blue finish with some muzzle and edge wear, scattered speckled flaking and scratches, and a drag line on the cylinder. The front and back straps have a smooth brown patina with most of the original finish remaining on and around the trigger guard, and on the top of the back strap. The frame and hammer retain 30% original case colors with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The grips are very fine with a few minor dings and handling marks, and crisp checkering. The markings are clear and crisp. The action is excellent.
