Fine as period modified (barrel shortened). The revolver retains half of the original blue finish on the barrel with overall thinning and scattered dings. The ejector rod housing is a later production replacement and retains 95% of the blue finish with a few scattered nicks. The cylinder shows 70% of the original blue finish with thinning overall and stronger blue in the flutes. The frame has 30% of the original case colors with the remainder showing a smooth gray patina intermixed with shadows of case colors. The grip straps and trigger guard retain 60% of the original blue, thinning overall with a smooth gray patina on the balance and the back strap shows three gouges in the metal. The grips are very good as period custom carved with a few dings and chips throughout. Mechanically needs work with the cylinder not locking up properly. The holster is good with some cracking and damaged straps.
