According to the included factory letter, this revolver was shipped as one of 9 to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company of Chicago, Illinois on November 21, 1901. Blade and notch sights, with a two line address and "45 COLT" on the barrel, "R.A.C." marked cylinder, and checkered two piece hardwood grips.

Condition: Fine as assembled, with replaced barrel and cylinder, with 70% of the blue finish on those parts and 30% on the grip straps, with areas of gray patina, mild handling marks and some very light spotting. Traces of case colors are visible in the protected areas of the frame. Excellent grips, with light pressure dents. Mechanically very good.
