Produced by Colt in 1916. Blade front and flat top square notch rear sights with the two line/ two block address and patent markings on the left side of the slide, Rampant Colt behind the serrations and "COLT/ AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE.45" ahead of the ejector port on the right. "GOVERNMENT MODEL/ C36430" on the right side of the frame with "VP/ D" on the left side of the trigger guard. Equipped with a wide checkered hammer, smooth trigger, short grip safety, checkered slide catch, thumb safety, magazine release and smooth flat mainspring housing with a lanyard ring on the butt. Checkered grips and unmarked full blue magazine.

Condition: Very good, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing a gray patina on the grip straps, around the high edges, and in a streak on the upper right side of the slide, mild spotting and scattered handling marks. Some pitting is visible on the muzzle. Grips are very good, with mild dings. Mechanically excellent.
