Serial Number: 42004
Condition: Very fine as partially refinished. The carbine retains 70% faded blue finish with the balance a smooth plum patina. The floorplate and triggerguard have been reblued. The buttplate has a smooth gray patina with a series of notches along the edges. The top of the bolt handle has been ground down for a scope. The left side of the stock has a cut-out for a receiver sight mount and the sling swivels studs have been removed (forearm stud ground flush with wood, filler screw for buttstock stud hole), otherwise stock is fine with some minor dings and scratches. Overall the checkering is crisp.
