Pre-WWI Colt Frontier Six Shooter Single Action Army Revolver
Manufactured in 1916. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER 44-40" on the left side and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. Matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard and backstrap, partial serial number "671" on the rear face of the cylinder and the loading gate is marked with the assembly number "606". Blade front and frame notch rear sights and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Condition: Good. The metal surfaces have a mottled grayish brown patina, (darker on the trigger guard and front strap), with some minor pitting on the cylinder, frame, muzzle end of the barrel and top of the backstrap. The replacement grips are very good with overall moderate wear, a few small file marks on the right side rear and a few minor dings. The markings are clear and crisp. The action is excellent.
