Circa 1915 "A Hurry Call", Prohibition-era Tin over cardboard 7.75" x 12.5". The Malt-Nutrine brand was produced from 1895 to 1942 by Anheuser-Busch, originally a nutritive drink marketed for "new mothers, convalescents, sickly children, and the anemic and aged" that contained no more than 1.9% alcohol. That percentage was still too great under Prohibition and the company reduced the formula to less than 1/2 of one percent.
