From the Viru/Gallinazo culture of Peru and dating between 400 and 100 B.C., bridge-spouted, bird-form vessel having a ring shaped body. Red-brown ground with black negative resist, geometric decoration. Standing on four short footed legs. 4-1/8"H x 6"L, tiny hole under left wing with a small hairline, spout and bridge reattached, otherwise intact and excellent.
