A beautiful work of ancient art and an extrodinary piece. This vessel in the form of a face with earings creates a canasta basket. Used by the ancient people as an incence burner. Remains of a snake intwine on the upper portion used as a handle. This is a prime example of the level of art in the Colima culture. The handle has been repaired, otherwise it is in fine condition. A fine piece for any collection of Pre-Columbian Art.
