Nayarit Pottery Seated Figure, protoclassic, Ca. 100 B.C. - 250 A.D. An orange-ware sculpture of excellent form. He has pleasant facial features, ear clips and headdress. Fine example in excellent condition. Compare "The Shaft Tomb Figures of West Mexico", by H. Von Winning for similar examples. 6-3/8" tall.
