Inca Woven Textile Bag, north coast, Ca. 1400 A.D. Handsome woven wool rectangular two sided bag, each side overall in red, ochre and white colors with design as an abstract crouching feline in positive and negative space with birds heads terminating from paws. Approx. 9-1/2" by 10" square. Nice condition. Ex. private West Virginia collection, acquired late 1960s to early 1970s. To present owner by descent.
