Inca vessel, Ca. 1450 - 1532 A.D. 4-3/4" tall by 5-1/4" wide . Finely modeled jar with flared lip and a wide strap handle . The body of the vessel constricts severely before flaring to the delicate foot. Great esthetic appeal. Decorated with polychrome butterflies above a double black line. Zig-zag black and cream line with small black dots on rim. Strap handle has geometric black and cream designs.
